History
Operating for over thirty years in the field of Clinical Laboratory Diagnostics. Established in 1978 is directed with wise professionalism by Dr. Rosario Vitale who do hire a peculiar cutting the structure, developing Sectors hematology and of allergology Respiratory, thanks to its dual specialization in Hematology and Pneumology. in 2006 he became part of the team's son Dr. Carlo Vitale, who now holds the technical health management of the Centre.

The Center has in place a large number of internal and auxiliary collaborators; is a healthcare reality recognized as a serious and competent company that operates in laboratory medicine with professionalism, great dedication and humanity. Parallel to the acquisition of state-of-the-art equipment, the Laboratory pays particular attention to constant and incessant training and updating activities in line with the directives of the Ministry of Health and of the National Agency for Regional Health Services (Agenas); in fact, it makes use of the skills of a highly qualified operative staff that puts its professional seriousness at the service of patients.

Accredited by the National Health SystemThe laboratory is accredited by the National Health System in line with DA n. 890 of 17/06/2002 with publication of GURS (pI) n° 59 del 21/12/2007 and verified on 27-09-2011 dall'U.O. Accreditamento.
The structure is completely computerized and guarantees ever shorter technical acceptance and reporting times and, above all, constant control of the analytical data. Quality is considered a decisive element for the whole activity, therefore, Internal Quality Control (CQI) and External Quality Verification (VEQ) are performed daily under the direct control of the CRQ - Regional Center for implementation, insurance and control of the Quality of the Sicily Region.
